The foundation story:

In 2005, Lothar Deckert and 8 other people founded the Hell Association.

Shortly afterwards Mr. Deckert was able to set up a museum for small
appliances in the so-called "Bauernhaus" (farmhouse) on the Hell site
in Suchsdorf. As a Hell employee and member of the Amateurfunker
Club in Kiel / Heikendorf he could count on the help of his friends and
colleagues from the work and hobby sector. This resulted in a large
exhibition of radio and image display devices.

With the sale of the site in 2008, the "Bauerhaus" had to be vacated.
Since then, all equipment has been located in warehouses of Kiel
companies and are waiting for a new "home" to explain the great
development history of image data transfer and processing in action
to future generations.
