Dr.-Ing Rudolf Hell is among other things an inventor of the TV-image dissector tube
(in 1925 with Dr. Dieckmann), the "Hell-Schreiber" (1929), Klischographen (1951),
fax machine (1956), scanner (1963) and the computer typesetting Digiset (1965).
Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Hell is among other things a bearer of the big Federal Service Cross
with star, of the Gutenberg's price and Werner von Siemens-Rings, and is a cultural
prizewinner and freeman of the city of Kiel as well as freeman of the university of Kiel.
Dr.-Ing. Rudolf Hell was born 111 years ago on the 19th of December, 1901 in Eggmüh
l and passed away at the age of 100 years on the 11th of March, 2002 in Kiel.
