Topaz (1994)  
         
 

The Topaz scanner is a flatbed scanner for reflective and transparent originals, which scans with a resolution up to 5,000 dpi. There is a robot unit with up to 25 picture cassettes, which are scanned automatically after an appropriate job planning. There is also a function to descreen screened originals during scanning, with automatic and optimal adjustment to the screen width and the screen angle.

Already old but still so young:

In January 2021, this scanner family can still be operated on PC and MAC workstations with the SilverFast software made by LaserSoft Imaging from Kiel.
